In the face of opposition and a likely no vote, a man looking to operate what would be the county's first commercial brewery on his property outside Waynesboro had the request tabled.
 
Leading the opposition were members of the Mt. Bethel Baptist Church.  Trustee Calvin Whitson says the brew house sits just 85 feet from the church.  The County's Board of Zoning Appeals will take up the issue again at next months meeting.
