Jim lives in Weyers Cave with his wife Sue, known for her extraordinary culinary skills, and their two children.  He's been with the station since 1987.   Of course, Jim does Play by Play for High School Football and Basketball, and hosts the nationally syndicated In The Garden with Andre Viette on Saturday Mornings.

Jim takes listeners calls for regulars on Middays which  include gardening with Andre Viette,  all about pets with Mike Reisenberg, Ask The Governor, topical issues with Andy Schmookler, George Hansborough and Ben Fordney  with "The Civil War On The Air", Jim Bishop with Warped Records, Issues in Growth, and members of the governments of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County.
